THE RASBERRY PATCH HOUSE

Inspired by the tradition of western farms and ranches, the raspberry patch house in Telluride is designed as a collection of connected buildings that loosely define a series of courtyards. The exterior achieves eclectic elegance from a collage of weathered materials. The house serves as a family retreat for an extended family. Separate, yet connected, privacy and family unity are manifest along an old, leaf-matted logging trail beneath a canopy of young aspen trees.
