Arranged on a bench of land carved into a steep hillside high above Aspen, the Kraver Residence is aligned on an old roadway. This remarkable house was designed to enhance mountain views by stretching out along this narrow bench of land. The lower floor forms a stone base, while the upper floor is set back in different "buildings." The overall effect is of a villa set picturesquely on a mountain terrace.
